Steps from the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach, North Beach Village is an idyllic neighborhood of mid-century hotels and garden apartments. On a full block in the center of the village, the historic Escape Hotel is being meticulously renovated and contemporized as Gale Fort Lauderdale Beach, a luxury boutique hotel by the acclaimed Menin Hospitality. Gale Fort Lauderdale will include 128 condominiums in a new 12-story tower along with 96 hotel rooms with views of the Intracoastal and the ocean.
All units will be delivered fully-finished with gourmet kitchens, designer fixtures and cabinetry, spa-style bathrooms, customized flooring and spacious walk-in closets. Each residence will be equipped with floor-to-ceiling, impact-resistant glass doors and ample balcony space.
One of the best examples of Mid-century modern (MiMo) architecture in Fort Lauderdale Beach will soon come alive as Gale Boutique Hotel & Residences is set to open in late 2016. The area will see a historic hotel reborn and the rise of an adjacent 128-unit luxury condominium. A top-to-bottom renovation of the property will make way for 96 hotel rooms and suites sporting stylish interiors, sleek furnishings and premium amenities, incorporating design elements from Gale South Beach. Located at 2900 Riomar Street, the Gale is a collaboration between Newgard Development Group and Menin Hospitality, in joint venture with Fort Lauderdale real estate investor Dev Motwani’s Merrimac Ventures.
